Thanks for your interest in becoming a Student Teacher at GRPS!

 

Disclaimer:

• This registration is for student teachers who have been placed by their college/university at GRPS for the student teaching internship. 
• The stipend will be paid by the State of Michigan. 
• *If you have NOT been placed by your college/university and are interested in a GRPS placement, please contact your University. 

 

Next, please follow these steps

 

1. Complete the GRPS student-teacher registration form by clicking "Apply Now- Apply for this Position" (on the upper right hand side of this page)

2. (OPTIONAL) Start an application through EduStaff.

• Is highly recommended Student Teachers become registered subs through EduStaff.
• Visit their site to complete their forms to be fingerprinted, and connect with them on the next steps, including fees, etc.
• This will allow you to be a registered substitute teacher at GRPS and get compensated by EduSatff. 

3. Student Teachers must complete the "GRPS Volunteer Application Form" 

 

4. Student Teachers must complete the "Acceptable Internet Use Form"

• Once completed, please print it and return it to your building principal. 
• Your building principal will need to submit this form to the IT Helpdesk.

5. Upon completion of all steps, please email Talent Acquisition at careers@grps.org to confirm completion.
