Earning Days: 10 hours/week

SUMMARY OF POSITION:  

The Activity Leader will assist the Site Coordinator in the planning, developing, and implementing of classroom activities for after school programs at local schools.  This position requires face-to-face leadership in this program and may involve early morning responsibilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  The employee is frequently required to sit.  The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell.  The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision. 


WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud to moderate. Work is performed indoors although the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is directly responsible for the safety, well-being and work output of students.


MENTAL FUNCTIONS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to compare, analyze, communicate both orally and in writing, copy, coordinate, instruct, compute, synthesize, evaluate, use interpersonal skills, compile and negotiate.
